Music is a universal language that has the power to inspire, to empower, to challenge—and to unite. Voices raised together in song are not just beautiful to listen to. (Though of course they are!) Choral music is a cooperative experience that builds community—both within the chorus and between the chorus and the community it serves. In a large, fast-growing region such as Charlotte, the arts are more than just a diversion. They are an essential part of the civic conversation.

We are of course proud to be the resident chorus of the Charlotte Symphony. But as an independent nonprofit performing arts organization, we rely on your financial support to fulfill our mission of inspiring unity through extraordinary performances of diverse music. From performing the choral masterworks to debuting important new pieces, Charlotte Master Chorale is an important voice in making this region a more interesting, more relevant, and more welcoming place to live.
